Responding to Customer Requests

  • Posted on February 10, 2016

A few years ago, we surveyed you, our customers, about what you look for in a radiopharmaceutical provider. One of the things you asked for most frequently was access to professionally accredited Continuing Education (CE) programs.

Ask and you shall receive!

Taking those requests to heart, we have made it a priority to expand CE offerings available to our customers. Today, continuing education is available through a wide variety of ways — live, online, via webinars and in association with our industry partners. And best of all, unlike many of our competitors, these courses are available at no cost to our customers.

So where do you find this treasure trove of CE? The first place to start is with the Institute of Learning, where you will find information about 17 SNMMI VOICE-accredited CE courses for nuclear medicine technologists. Each of these courses, which were developed for our customers, carry 1.0 CEU SNMMI VOICE credit and are offered as live presentations; many are also available 24/7/365 through our Online Learning Center. The CE curriculum is updated on an ongoing basis. The most recent additions, all of which are available live or online, include: Pharmacologic Stress Agents in Myocardial Perfusion Imaging; Pediatric Dosing of Radiopharmaceuticals; and Understanding the Transition from HEU to LEU Radiopharmaceuticals. (For a full list of courses, see below. The authorization code needed to activate online courses is available through your local Jubilant Radiopharma Pharmacy Manager or Nuclear Sales Manager)

On-site group presentations are also available through the Institute of Learning, which offers CE programs presented by our own fully certified Strategic Teaching and Training (S.T.A.T.) Team. This elite team — which includes nuclear pharmacists, technicians, and quality and safety professionals; as well as certified representatives of our industry partners — is in high demand! In fact, you may have encountered a member of the S.T.A.T. Team presenting at your regional SNMMI or SEMATA meeting.

Through our Online Learning Center, Jubilant Radiopharma customers also have access to a full catalog of ASRT-accredited courses, which are provided to our customers. An introductory-level Basic Radiation Safety course is also available online. This certificate course is designed to provide important basic safety information to individuals working in and around nuclear medicine facilities.

And we haven't forgotten your purchasing teams. Also be on the lookout for emails promoting a series of coding and reimbursement webinars, which are provided through our partner MedLearn Publishing. (To be added to the notification list for these popular educational programs, contact our training manager at jdr.traincomm@jubl.com)

We like nothing more than to hear from you, our customers, about your interests and needs when it comes to continuing education. Please don't hesitate to let us know what's on your mind. For more information, to provide feedback or to schedule a presentation at your hospital or clinic, contact your local Jubilant Radiopharma Sales Representative.
